Maasai Mara National Reserve Day Trip with Optional Maasai Village Visit

Start with a very early collection from your Nairobi hotel, accommodation or the airport area, then begin the drive towards Maasai Mara National Reserve. Your guide will brief you on the day's plan as you travel through scenic countryside and stretches of the Great Rift Valley.

Arrive at Maasai Mara National Reserve and enjoy a guided game drive across the open savannah plains. The reserve is renowned for its abundant wildlife, big cat sightings, dramatic scenery and the seasonal wildebeest migration.

Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, antelope, wildebeest, hyenas and numerous bird species while your guide explains the Mara ecosystem and wildlife behaviour.

Take a lunch break during the day at a suitable restaurant, in the lodge area or at an agreed stop depending on timing and routing. Meals and drinks are paid for directly unless stated otherwise in your selected option.

If time permits, an optional Maasai village visit can be arranged for guests interested in learning about local traditions, homestead life, beadwork, dances and the community's connection to the Maasai Mara region. Any village fees should be paid directly unless included in your selected option.

After the safari experience, begin your return journey to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your hotel, private residence or your chosen central pick-up point late in the evening, depending on traffic and routing.
