Maasai Mara National Reserve Day Tour with Optional Maasai Village Visit

Start with a very early collection from your Nairobi hotel, accommodation or the airport area, then begin the drive towards Maasai Mara National Reserve. Your guide will brief you on the day's plan as you travel through scenic countryside and sections of the Great Rift Valley.

Arrive at Maasai Mara National Reserve and enjoy a guided game drive across the open savanna plains. The reserve is celebrated for its diverse wildlife, big cat sightings, dramatic landscapes and the seasonal wildebeest migration.

Be on the lookout for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, antelope, wildebeest, hyenas and many bird species as your guide explains the Mara ecosystem and wildlife behaviour.

Take a lunch break during the day at a suitable restaurant, in the lodge area or at an agreed stop depending on timing and routing. Meals and drinks are paid for directly unless stated otherwise in your selected option.

If time allows, an optional Maasai village visit can be arranged for guests keen to learn about local traditions, homestead life, beadwork, dances and the community's connection to the Maasai Mara region. Any village fees are payable directly unless included in your selected option.

After the safari experience, begin your return journey to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your hotel, residence or your preferred central pick-up point late in the evening, depending on traffic and routing.
