Maasai Mara National Reserve Day Trip with Optional Maasai Village Visit

Start with a very early pickup from your Nairobi hotel, accommodation, or airport area, then begin the drive towards Maasai Mara National Reserve. Your guide will brief you on the day's plan as you travel through scenic countryside and sections of the Great Rift Valley route.

Arrive at Maasai Mara National Reserve and enjoy a guided game drive across the open savannah plains. The reserve is famous for its rich wildlife, big cat sightings, dramatic landscapes, and seasonal wildebeest migration.

Watch for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, antelopes, wildebeests, hyenas, and many bird species as your guide shares insights about the Mara ecosystem and wildlife behaviour.

Take a lunch break during the day at a suitable restaurant, in the lodge area or at an agreed stop depending on timing and routing. Meals and drinks are paid for directly unless stated otherwise in your selected option.
