Maasai Mara National Reserve Day Trip with Optional Maasai Village Visit

This begins before sunrise — a very early pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence or airport area gives you maximum time in the Mara. As dawn breaks over the road westward, your guide will brief you on the day ahead while the scenery builds through farmland and wide sections of the Great Rift Valley route.

Arrive at the Maasai Mara National Reserve and head out across the open savanna on a guided game drive through Kenya's most storied wildlife arena — renowned above all for big cats, sweeping landscapes and, in season, the drama of the wildebeest migration.

Lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, antelope and hyenas are all possible in a single day here, with birdlife filling the spaces between sightings. Throughout, your guide decodes the behaviour unfolding around you, turning sightings into stories.
