About Nairobi National Park

Nairobi National Park is a unique wildlife sanctuary situated just 7 kilometres from Kenya’s bustling capital. Renowned for its distinctive setting, the park allows visitors to witness wild animals against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline. Covering over 117 square kilometres, it is home to a wide variety of species, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras and a thriving black rhino population. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with more than 500 recorded bird species. Visitors can enjoy game drives, guided nature walks and visits to the nearby Nairobi Animal Orphanage and the Ivory Burning Site Monument, which symbolises Kenya’s commitment to wildlife conservation.
