About Nairobi National Park

Nairobi National Park is a unique wildlife sanctuary located just 7 kilometres from Kenya’s bustling capital city. Famed for its remarkable setting, the park allows visitors to view wild animals against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline. Spanning more than 117 square kilometres, it is home to a wide range of species, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras and a thriving black rhino population. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 500 bird species recorded. Visitors can enjoy game drives, nature walks and visits to the nearby Nairobi Animal Orphanage and the Ivory Burning Site Monument, which symbolises Kenya’s commitment to wildlife conservation.
