About Nairobi National Park

Nairobi National Park is a one-of-a-kind wildlife sanctuary just 7 kilometres from Kenya’s bustling capital. Famous for its unusual setting, the park lets visitors view wild animals against the Nairobi skyline. Covering over 117 square kilometres, it is home to many species, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras and a thriving black rhino population. The park is also a birding paradise, with over 500 bird species recorded. Visitors can enjoy game drives, nature walks and visits to the nearby Nairobi Animal Orphanage and the Ivory Burning Site Monument, which symbolises Kenya’s commitment to wildlife conservation.
