About Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park, often called 'The Land of Giants', is renowned for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, and its large herds of free-roaming elephants. Located in southern Kenya near the Tanzania border, the park covers over 390 square kilometres of diverse ecosystems, including open plains, acacia woodlands, swamps and the dry bed of Lake Amboseli. The park supports a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes and more than 400 bird species.
