About Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha, a serene freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley, is a peaceful retreat framed by lush vegetation and abundant wildlife. The lake is a sanctuary for birdlife, hosting over 400 species, including kingfishers, herons and African fish eagles. Its waters shelter hippos, while surrounding papyrus swamps and acacia woodlands attract giraffes, zebras and waterbuck.
