Overview

This 4-day safari takes you from Nairobi to three of Kenya’s most iconic parks: Amboseli, famed for panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and its large elephant herds; Tsavo West, known for varied habitats, Mzima Springs and dense wildlife; and Tsavo East, noted for its vast plains, red elephants and dramatic scenery. Your experienced guide will run daily game drives to maximise your chances of seeing the Big Five, numerous bird species and distinctive flora and fauna. Accommodation is on a full-board basis in carefully chosen safari lodges or camps, ensuring comfort and immersion in nature. Your journey begins with a pick-up in Nairobi and a scenic drive to Amboseli for a sunset game drive. Day two heads to Tsavo West with more wildlife sightings en route. On day three you’ll cross into Tsavo East for afternoon exploration before settling in for the evening. The safari finishes with a memorable morning game drive and a relaxed return to Nairobi. All transport is provided in a 4x4 safari Jeep equipped for comfort and excellent wildlife viewing. Park fees, guiding services, bottled water and pick-up/drop-off are included, letting you focus on the adventure. Itinerary

Day 1

1 Nairobi to Amboseli & Sunset Game Drive beneath Kilimanjaro Open

Leave Nairobi in the morning and travel south through open Maasai country towards Amboseli National Park, where — clouds permitting — the snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, dominates the horizon. Check in to your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch with that view.

As the afternoon cools, head out on a sunset game drive across Amboseli's open plains, famed for great herds of elephants framed against the mountain. Lions, cheetahs and giraffes are often seen too, along with rich birdlife, and an optional Maasai village visit can add a cultural dimension to the day.

Day 2

1 Morning at Amboseli, Afternoon at Tsavo West Open

Make the most of Amboseli's golden morning hours with a game drive as you exit the park — elephants and buffalo framed in the low light, birds everywhere, and Kilimanjaro standing sentry on the horizon when the clouds lift.

By lunchtime you reach Tsavo West National Park, a markedly different landscape of ancient lava flows and spring‑fed rivers. After check‑in and a chance to relax, explore it on an afternoon game drive; guided walks and sundowners can be arranged at extra cost for those who want to feel the bush underfoot.

Day 3

1 Rhino Sanctuary — Mzima Springs and the Red Plains of Tsavo East Open

Depart Tsavo West on a morning game drive that takes in two of the park's treasures: the protected Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, where endangered black rhinos are given a fighting chance, and Mzima Springs, whose clear pools conceal hippos below the surface. Arrive at Tsavo East National Park in time for lunch at your lodge.

In the afternoon, travel across Tsavo East's vast red-earth plains — home of the iconic red-dusted elephants, hunting ground of lions and leopards, with antelope herds stretching to the horizon. The Galana River draws wildlife through the dry country, a natural stage for photography. This evening, compare sightings around the campfire.

Day 4

1 Return Journey to Nairobi with En-Route Game Drive Open

One last time, let the park set the pace: after breakfast, your route out of Tsavo East National Park doubles as a final game drive — a perfect chance to finish your safari checklist as the red plains slip past.

The road back to Nairobi includes a relaxed lunch stop, and optional souvenir shopping can be arranged en route for gifts to take home. You will be dropped off at your chosen point in the city, bringing to a close four days that took you from Kilimanjaro's shadow to Tsavo's red horizons.
