Amboseli National Park - The Land of Giants

Amboseli National Park, often called 'The Land of Giants', is renowned for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, and its large herds of free‑roaming elephants. Located in southern Kenya near the border with Tanzania, the park covers over 390 square kilometres of diverse ecosystems, including open plains, acacia woodlands, swamps and the dry bed of Lake Amboseli. The park hosts a wide range of wildlife — lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes and more than 400 bird species. Amboseli offers exceptional opportunities for photographers, with elephants silhouetted against Kilimanjaro’s snow‑capped peaks. Visitors can also explore Maasai villages to learn about their fascinating culture and sustainable coexistence with wildlife.
